How do you follow your intuition?
Sometimes you have a decision to make and you could write down the pros & cons.
That’s more decision making from the mind.
For me it’s best to follow my intuition. How do I do that? I tune into my body and use my simple “Brick or Kick” test:
1️⃣ Find a quiet spot, sit down and close your eyes.
2️⃣ Bring your awareness to your breathing.
Slow down your breathing by making your exhales a bit longer.
3️⃣ Call in the question / decision you want to make.
4️⃣ Notice how your body responses;
– Does it feel like a brick is lying on your stomach? That’s a no *
– Do you feel a bubbly energy? Is excitement kicking in? Does it give you a kick? That’s a yes!
*Finding it a bit scary doesn’t mean it’s a no.
When we were thinking of moving to Spain I set down and imagined how it would be living there. I almost immediately felt excitement kicking in so I know it was the right thing to do.
I’m still very happy with the decision we made.
So next time when you have to make a decision and want to follow your intuition, do the “Brick or Kick” test.
